| Flowline introduces EchoPod, an innovative level sensor that replaces floats, conductance and pressure sensors that fail due to dirty, sticking and scaling media in a small tanks/vessels 49.2" (1.25m) or less. EchoPod, a general purpose sensor, combines non-contact switch, controller and transmitter capabilities in one multi-function sensor. Selectable 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC or 976-2000 Hz. frequency signal output. EchoPod reduces tank system hardware through simplicity and consolidation. Addiotionally, EchoPod is well sutied for corrosive and dirty applications with its non-metallic housing and transducer. EchoPod provides a total solution for fluid handling and automation. Contact sensors are susceptible to coating and scaling liquids, resulting in sticking / malfunction that requires frequent maintenance or replacement. EchoPod provides a non-contact solution for the retrofit of float trees and conductivity probes. Combining 4 built in SPST relays, EchoPod delivers a reliable, durable and dependable replacement. EchoPod's selectable hysteresis eliminates relay chatter from turbulent media, a feature contact sensors can't provide. Additionally, non-contact sensors are immune to the performance issues influenced by changes in a media's specific gravity. EchoPod's non-contact ultrasonic switch performance is level made simple. Contact sensors for control have traditionally been difficult to set up, and don't provide long term maintenance free operation. Conductance and floats are challenged by the lack of programmable level intelligence inherent by design and failure due to contact with the liquid media.
